Upon arrival to this damage, the SERVPRO of Cerritos/Hawaiian Gardens branch recognized two important factors:

• While the damage did not seem extensive, there was the possibility of standing water creeping in to the porous materials.
• Immediate action was needed to extract the water permeating throughout the space. 

Specialized equipment was brought on-site to extract the standing water in the impacted zone. Once the zone was cleared of the source of damage, our crew chief followed protocol by placing moisture eliminating equipment in the space. This ensured all materials were completely dry.
